    I will be teaching a new class this year for 9th graders who have gotten Ds and Fs in their middle school math classes.  The primary goals are to fill in all of their math gaps and have them master the Integrated 1 standards.  (Sounds easy enough.)

    <span style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>I have taught classes like this before where I have only focused on the math and have not been very successful.  I would like to try teaching the whole student using the newest research-based ideas.  Unfortunately, I will be creating this class as I go along but fortunately, I found this resource to help me.  I will also be teaching the two classes solo so I hope to find the community support I will likely need here.</span>
