Hi, I’m Rallou from Oakdale, Connecticut.  I teach math in a trauma sensitive alternative high school in Montville. I taught middle school in this district for 14 years and was at the main high school for 3 years, and this is my 6th year here.  I joined the Making Math Moments Academy because I’ve been listening to your pod casts since the last couple weeks of school and got so excited because they gave me hope that I could find a way to engage my kids.  That has been a huge struggle for me the past 5 years because nearly all of our students are very reluctant learners. I am hoping to find ways to make my kids believe they can do this thing we call math.
