    I am from Joliet IL.  What I missed the most about the classroom was the relationships with the students.  As an instructional coach my interaction with students was limited to days and times that I scheduled with teachers to be in their classrooms.  There was no consistency with when I would be around and so students saw me more as a novelty than a dependable adult engaged in their learning path.
