    Wow Amy, that’s a lot of students! Are you the only one in your position or is there another coach that helps you? What grade do your  schools start departmentalizing? I am in rural Ohio and our district is much smaller (only about 175-200 per grade level). We have tried departmentalized as low as 1st grade but it seems that all the teachers below 4th grade push to be self-contained or just in partners, splitting the science and social studies.
