    Hello! I am Shauna Messinger, teacher on special assignment (TOSA) for mathematics in Simi Valley Unified School District in Southern California. For the last two years I have been coaching teachers from TK to Adult School. Previously I taught 14 years in high school math.

    This new experience of seeing into classrooms of all ages and levels has been amazing and I have found something I really love. My first presentation to teachers was at an all elementary representatives meeting. As I stood up, my feet slipped on the floor and I broke my Chromebook. Worst experience ever, but I look back and laugh….I can only get better after that one!

    I attended the Making Math Moments Academy and found it to be an amazing help in my coaching ideas. I want my learning to evolve!
