    I really like how day 2 builds on day 1’s task. The consolidating question which asks students to justify whether it is a division or multiplication question is great because it pushes students to go beyond simply solving the new problem.

    I’m wondering if in the picture prompt you might be able to take the comma out of the thousands number? In French a comma is a decimal number, and even in English math many places are starting to replace the comma with a space. I think it might be more flexible like that.

    Also, I was wondering if we’d receive a notification in the academy when the powerpoint for the donut task might be ready for download? Or should I just keep checking back? I’d love to use this in my class, but as I have to modify the images to take the English words out, I’m waiting until I can access a version that is easier to manipulate.
