    It’s fascinating and enlightening to spend time in a K class. Especially after teaching middle and high school math for a while. Seeing these fundamental numeracy concepts just beginning to develop gives a great perspective on the overall progression that students go through during elementary years… and the challenges that elementary teachers face to try and help students discover their math facts through numeracy exploration on the path toward automaticity.
