A new takeaway is to use exit tickets with legs. I like the idea of picking a student ticket at random and having the class individually reflect if the solution is useful and how it can be improved. I also like the alternative exit ticket in which students self–reflect regarding how the day’s learning connect with your prior learning. I also agree that exit tickets are also not needed. The teacher can see where their students are through the task.
