I have been using the ebook Math Before Bed. I like it as a way to start class and gets kids talking. I haven’t necessarily linked the prompt to my actual lesson. How do you use these in your lessons? Are they part of the overall lesson? Are they the notice and wonder of the lesson? How much time do you usually take on these? I am interested in using headbands as a review for concepts taught. I like all of them. What are suggestions in planning a lesson and putting these to use?
