I think it is fun that students want to press you on the “who” is in the video. I like the idea of keeping it a mystery – maybe not revealing and letting them continue to wonder and/or come up with evidence as to why it is or isn’t you. Because in the end, it doesn’t actually matter 🙂
As for the videos – we believe the elements of cuiosity can be brought out a bit more than say just telling a story. However, for us, it is more about the Curiosity Path than the video itself (withholding information, anticipation, noticing and wondering, estimating) that really draws students in. Visuals (and animations) can obviously help to draw those things out.
