    I would approach this much as Jeanette did with a 3-act task. I did the hot chocolate task with my students and I was amazed by the level of engagement created by just showing students a video of a container of cocoa and a glass being put on a counter. Based on that I would start by showing the jugs of milk and the container and do a Notice and Wonder. Then I would show someone (maybe with a furry monster arm as in the Cookie Monster video!) pouring the milk and let them estimate for Act 2. Then I would show a 250 mL measuring cup and for Act 3 and have the students finish the problem.
