    I love that a task that can be used to help my students start to grasp linear equations can also be used to help my students who struggle with fractions.

    I just introduced double number lines to them this week and they don’t seem to have much practice modeling with pictures, as they seem very reticent to do that. I wonder how I help them become more resilient in using these tools.
