My name is John, I am a new teacher at the young age of 46. I used to work in the Banking/Investment industry, but have always wanted to be a teacher. I actually taught EFL in Taiwan for 3 years back in my late 20’s but came home to responsibilities and went into banking for the stability and pay. Eventually couldn’t do it anymore, so I quit and went back to school at the tender age of 42, and now find my self teaching a grade 7 class in what looks to be an LTO in the making. I joined this page to help me make my math lesson’s more interesting, exciting and engaging. Eventually Id like move up to Secondary to teach math, business and Physed.
