    To me, spatial reasoning is the ability navigate distances and spaces throughout your life, be it mental or physical, to try and find the best fit. I think immediately of my 6 y/o son who constantly runs into doorknobs and corners because he is just figuring out how to navigate physical spaces. And I know there are more academic applications, but I think of my 6th graders who jammed their work or examples into some tiny corner of the paper instead of using the giant white space provided.
