I love the idea of the portfolios! I like that it gives students a chance to look back through what they’ve done to find evidence of learning taking place. Sometimes I feel we get bogged down in day-to-day and students easily forget it’s all connected. I feel like portfolios provide a way to set up milestones that show what’s been going on.
I was happy to be able to find the templates on the podcast site. Those will even be useful with formative assessments along the way until I can fully set these up. I also feel this will be a great way to serve students with learning needs — especially organization difficulties. Now the things needed as evidence can be put online and being “lost” doesn’t have to be a concern. Am I off-base for thinking this. Way?
