While teaching the unit on fractions, we go from finding equivalent fractions to comparing fractions. They student often struggle with idea of what a fraction looks like based of the numerical representation. We could pivot to look at models of fractions and talk about fractions that are less than one-half and fractions that are greater than one-half.
