I’ve always struggled to share learning intentions and goals at the beginning of a lesson because I want students to be able to discover what needs to happen. Stating a goal like: “Students will solve problems using the quadratic formula” just feeds them the method we are going for. I’m writing this at the beginning of the lesson, looking forward to seeing what you have to say in this lesson and understanding better how to do this!
