I would like to give a huge AMEN to the statement near the beginning, that like our students, we need to spiral our own content knowledge/conceptual understanding in courses like these. I’m just getting back to Module 8 after a year’s absence from the course. I went back to my Module 6 notes, tried to rebuild my understanding, found some holes and rewatched Module 6 part 1 and 2. My notes are even more helpful (and colorful) now. So true that even if we feel like we totally get it while we are in the moment of learning, it does not necessarily convert to long term memory. I will, however, attest to the fact that it was a much quicker connection to rebuild than when diving in the first time around.
