    This is a difficult one, for sure. Providing them with an opportunity to dive into the struggle prompt would be helpful – keeping in mind that we want them to have the opportunity to solve the problem using an approach that leverages what they already bring to the table. This can be done by sharing the prompt and any visuals on your LMS or by sharing a link to the task on the website. Finding some time to observe while others are working on the next task / tasks is also important.
    Your idea of a summary page is a great one, too. It is awfully hard – regardless of the style of lesson – to “catch students up” as you can’t recreate the missed time during class time.
