Great idea, and something I’ve utilized with a quiz or test make-ups for students when they ask how to improve their grades. Breaking it down by LG and having students show where that learning fits is really powerful to help students reflect on their own learning.
One question I have is how multiple representations play into this? I really want to emphasize the multiple representations that answers can take, but am wondering about how to score/rate this? Does someone who can solve problems under multiple learning goals only one way (say tables, but not graphs, equations, etc.) deserve a “meets expectations” since they can problem-solve, but only one way? Do I have the power to decide that?
